This Project was awarded to AKT in December 2017 by the Basrah Gas Company. AKT Planned and executed successfully a total of four sectional replacement scopes simultaneously using multiple crews within a 3 week pipeline and plant shut down window.

1. Pipeline repairs, valve servicing and replacement at the pipeline pig launcher inside the NGL Romaila plant.
2. Sectional replacement totaling 130 meters at two locations behind old KAZ LPG plant.
3. Pipeline repairs, valve servicing and replacement at the pipeline pig receiver inside the KAZ NGL plant.
A total of 150meters length of the pipeline was replaced.
The pig traps were removed, all adjoining valves were serviced and reconstructed to allow for future installation of new pig traps.
Valve pits were also constructed at both ends of the pipelines for installation of future emergency shut down valves.
The Project was completed successfully within planned schedule and without incident.
